This PCB uses Immersion Gold. Well, you may ask what Immersion Gold is. To be specific, Immersion Gold is a coating layer generated through Chemically Redox reactions method and it is a thicker layer, which is one of methods that people usually use for deposition of chemical nickel gold layer. In this way, we could get much thicker gold layer. Advantages of the method are as follow: 1. Crystal structure is more dense and not easy to be oxidized; 2. Nickel gold is only on the soldering of this Immersion Gold board, and the transmission of signal on Skin Effect happens on Copper layer, so signal will not be effected; 3. The combination of solder mask and copper layer on the circuit will be more solid.
